My Reflection
It definitely has been an eye-opening journey of the first quarter with ICT 10, full of interesting discoveries, as well as some unsuspected challenges. Reading the history of the internet was pretty surprising, especially how the internet had changed from what it was a military project to today's global phenomenon. We learn about the pioneers, those people like Tim Berners-Lee and Vinton Cerf who brought us the internet, inspiring through their vision and dedication. It was when I heard their stories that made me set up some of my personal digital goals. We also learnt how to make a blog, manage it as well; we learned platforms, style of writing to be developed in interesting content as well as a basic coding. Indeed, while setting up my blog and all that was technical sometimes seemed really tough to cope with, the feeling gradually dissipated with the help of online tutorials, practice, the support of my classmates and teacher. The toughest thing was that making interesting and unique content was the most difficult thing for me. So, I kind of did this through brainstorming and reading inspiration off other blogs, focusing only on those topics that I was really interested in. Moreover, the feedback from peers helped polish my writing and brought out my voice. In the future, I look forward to continuing to explore the world of ICT and further development on my blog, making it more informative and entertaining for all. The more the days go by, the more I learn about web development and digital marketing, and the more I want to share it with others so that they can get moving in their own discoveries amidst the world of digital technology.
